The only issue I have - which is different in the Faxon and Smoke Composites - is there are just thin holes in the carbon fiber with little bolts holding it to the metal mounting ring. Perfect for PCC competition shootingThat barrel nut you turned down, tap 4 screw holes in a cross pattern. Repeat this on the carbon fiber tube. Install barrel nut, gas tube, and gas block. Then put the tube on the barrel nut and line up the barrel nut holes to the tube holes and use appropriate sized screws to secure the tube to the nut. .
